Junior Seau found dead

Former Charger commits suicide

Junior Seau, a former linebacker for both the Charges and the Patriots was found dead in his home reports TMZ. The North County Times and the news program 10news reported that Junior Seau’s death was in fact a suicide.

The former football star was found after police arrive to investigate a shooting gat his Oceanside home.

Junior Seau played an incredible 19 seasons in the NFL, being the number five draft pick back in 1990 our of the University of Southern California. Ten times he had the honor of being name an all-pro and in 1994, he was the AFC player of the year. Seau also made 12 appearances in the Pro Bowl.

He retired from the NFL in 2006 but later returned to play for the New England Patriots until he suffered injury to his forearm.

Seau drove his SUV off a beachside cliff in 2010 after he was arrested for domestic violence in Oceanside.

The coroner has yet to release an official report.
