Pop group Danity Kane are breaking up again after a business meeting went wrong.
Girl group, Danity Kane most known for their hit single, “Showstopper” and the endless drama among the group since coming together on Diddy’s MTV series, Making the Band 3 are calling it quits yet again.
As it turns out, things still aren’t working out for the group according to recent reports.
Danity Kane has called it quits yet again after a recent business meeting went wrong, leading to a physical altercation between Aubrey O’Day and Dawn Richard.
It is reported that police were called to a recording studio on Monday night after Richard allegedly punched O’Day in the back of the head.
Drama among the girl group led to the band’s original disbandment in 2009 but in 2013 the group decided to leave the past behind and move forward.
Earlier this year, Danity Kane embarked on a 13-city sold out tour after releasing their single, “Lemonade.” Not long after, Aundrea Fimbers announced her departure from the group.
O’Day, Richard and Shannon Bex continued with the group’s reunion despite Fimbers’ departure, and according to a written statement made by the group, they had already completed their comeback album and were just days away from filming music videos for three songs from their forthcoming album.
In a statement released on the group’s website on Friday, O’Day wrote:
“This most recent occurrence is not just incredibly embarrassing for the members of Danity Kane. More importantly, it spits on the hard work of all those who have supported us along this journey. Sadness does not even remotely begin to describe what I feel right now.”
