Kentucky Derby marks 138th year

Editorial Staff

The 138th Kentucky Derby Saturday at 4 p.m.

Who will be this years winner?

The Kentucky Derby rounds to turn this weekend. This year’s race marks the 138th Kentucky Derby, and unlike years before, you can now watch the entire thing online.

It can be streamed through Twinspires TV, which will show up to five tracks at once.

The race can still be viewed in the conventional way trackside with a mint julep in hand and large boisterous hat atop your head or on TV through NBC at 4 p.m. on Saturday

This year 21 horses have entered the Kentucky Derby, which is one more than the field’s maximum allotment of 20. This morning marked the last day for entries and post positions will be determined by the end of day as well.

Bodemister is thought to be this years frontrunner, given his recent win at the Arkansas Derby and that he is one of two horses trained by Bob Baffert, reports the Washington Post.
