Powerball hits $177 million

No wining numbers during last drawing

The Powerball has climbed to a staggering $177 million, given that the June 2 drawing didn’t have any players with all six winning Powerball numbers.

The upcoming Powerball drawing will have a cash option of $120.6 million.

The drawing on June 2 did have two high winning tickets, but neither had the Powerball, reports New Jersey Today. The wining numbers were 9, 10, 17, 29 and 45 with the Powerball number 33. The two winning tickets are worth $1 million each Other players won cash prizes, ranging from dollars to thousands of dollars.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510, and the chances of taking home any sort of cash prize is roughly 1 in 31. A total of 42 states participate in the Powerball, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and Washington, D.C.

The next Powerball drawing will be held Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
