It has been announced that Real Housewives of Atlanta star has joined the cast of Glee.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes is reported to be guest starring on Fox’s television show, “Glee,according to CBSNews.”
Leakes will appear as a McKinley High’s new swim coach.
Glee stars Chris Colfer and Lea Michele let the cat out of the bag during Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Monday night.
Leakes will play Roz Washington, according to The Hollywood Reporter and will join the show’s other coaches, Jane Lynch and Dot Marie Jones.
Michele talks about how excited the cast was to have Leakes on the show, she said, “We literally raided her trailer, we banged on her door.”
Leakes tweeted last night, “The secret is out! YES I hav a recurring role on GLEE! I’m coach Roz Washinton the synchronized swim coach! So Honored.”
She then followed it by saying, “A special thank u 2 Ryan Murphy the creator of Glee that believed n me & the cast comin n my trailer welcoming me wit open arms.”
No word on which episode Leakes will make her debut.
