Bonnaroo 2012 lineup released

Annual music festival releases highly anticipated lineup

The Bonnaroo 2012 lineup is finally released, and this year’s choices are sure to please music lovers of all types.

Some acts that stand out in the Bonnaroo 2012 lineup!

Indie rockers Bon Iver already had quite a following, and after recently winning the Grammy for Best New Artist, they can expect to have an even larger fan base. “Skinny Love” is a fan favorite.

Bonnaroo always reserves a spot for veteran acts, and the Beach Boys are a perfect fit. The reunited Beach Boys will be appearing as close to the original lineup as you can get.

Synthpop quartet Little Dragon, led by the tiny Swedish-Japanese singer with a big voice Yukimi Nagano, is an act you won’t want to miss. If you haven’t heard of them, listen to “Crystal Film,” off the Ritual Union album.

The talented “Community” actor Danny Glover returns to Bonnaroo for the second year, rapping under the moniker Childish Gambino and is sure to please hip hop and comedy fans alike.

Always a festival favorite, is Radiohead, whose last Bonnaroo appearance was in 2006. The band has since released albums In Rainbows  and The King of Limbs.

The Kooks are an indie pop rock band inspired by the sixties British Invasion movement and post-punk revival. Check out “Is It Me,” off their latest album Junk of the Heart.

British DJ SBTRKT plays a mix of two-step, dubstep and Chicago house and has remixed songs by artists such as Radiohead, M.I.A. and Mark Ronson.

The Joy Formidable is an alternative rock band headed by the enthusiastic and adorable Ritzy Bryan. The trio rocked Coachella last year with their performance of “Whirring”.

And of course, Skrillex is everywhere these days.
