Blake Shelton shocked fans when he appeared on The Today Show (Aug. 1) and announced some unexpected news.

The country hitmaker revealed that he will be dropping his eleventh studio album, Bringing Back the Sunshine, this fall via Warner Bros.

The track listing has not been released, however, Shelton shared the cover art for the album set to be released Sept. 30 which gives off a more serious tone for the album. The cover shows a water tower bearing “Ada,” the name of Shelton’s Oklahoma hometown. The black and white cover shows cloudy skies above the water town with signs of sunlight starting to break through the cloud barrier.

Shelton’s previous album Based On A True Story… was released in March of 2013 and produced a number of hits including “‘Boys Round Here,” “Sure Be Cool If You Did,” “Mine Would Be You,” and “Doin’ What She Likes.”

Shelton has yet to release any song titles for his forthcoming album or the first single, but fans can expect the album to produce a handful of hits.
