Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey are expecting.

Vanessa Minnillo, the host of Total Wipeout, married Nick Lachey last summer. This is the first child for both.

Vanessa Minnillo is looking forward to experiencing motherhood. She tweeted Monday, “Finally, Nick and I are ready to share our news. We have been blessed with a little Angel! We can’t wait to meet Baby Lachey!!!”

Nick Lachey broke the news while co-hosting on Live! With Kelly Wednesday. Nick said they have already been discussing baby names, even though they don’t know the sex of the baby yet.

So what are the possible names Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey are considering? These celebrities aren’t keeping their baby names under lock and key.

“If it’s a girl, I think it might be Sophia. If it’s a boy, I’m not sure. Colin John Lachey. Call him C.J. for short. C.J. Lachey,” Nick said.

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey took off for Mexico soon after their announcement. The two joined some friends on a yacht on the sea of Cortez, where Vanessa Minnillo hid her baby bump under a sun dress as she sipped on coconut water.

Nick Lachey was formerly married to Jessica Simpson, who is expecting her first child soon. The father of that baby is fiancé Eric Johnson.
