Travolta meets couple at bar and attends the wedding
Talk about the best wedding crasher ever: this past week the lucky couple met John Travolta in a bar the night before their wedding, and Travolta attended the wedding the next day!
While Travolta was getting his pilot’s license renewed, he went to a bar and met a couple who told him that they were getting married.
To their surprise, he showed up. While he wasn’t exactly wearing the fanciest clothing ever (jeans, a black t-shirt and a baseball cap), he even posed in some of the pictures!
The couple said that they never expected this event to go viral.
“We thought that was it, maybe a few Instagrams here,” the groom said. “Then we saw it on Yahoo!”
While this may seem like an amazing occurrence, especially for the couple who had Travolta as a guest, this wasn’t his first wedding crash, according to “Huffington Post.”
An interview in 2009 with “USA Today” has Travolta and Robin Williams telling a story of how they crashed a wedding in 1977 in Santa Barbara.
“We were having fun, starting to relax, when we saw there was a wedding next door,” Travolta said. “We figured we’d crash it.”
