Texan Crockett Keller refuses service to certain groups

Crockett Keller’s radio ad has sparked attention across the country

A radio ad, that ran for six days on a local Mason, Texas station, has sparked controversy in relation to advertising a handgun training class that omits Muslims and Obama voters.

The ads says: “We will attempt to teach you all the necessary information you need to obtain your [Concealed Handgun License].Towards the closing of the ad, it mentions: “If you are a socialist liberal and/or voted for the current campaigner in chief, please do not take this class. You have already proven that you cannot make a knowledgeable and prudent decision under the law.”

In defense of his ad, Crockett Keller has told the media that if a person is a Muslim, they can not be a “true” American. He also claims that he is exercising his right to choose who he can teach.

Texas’s Department of Public Safety might disagree and have begun an investigation on Keller. According to their laws, restricting someone of handgun training due to race, ethnicity or religion could result in the instructor’s license being suspended or taken away.

Keller is not likely to back down and has told media that he will risk giving up his license before being forced to teach.
