It might be hard to believe but an alarming report has emerged with the Duggar family. According to a recent police report, Josh Duggar, one of the stars of TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting, alledgly molested five girls starting in 2002, when he was just 14 years old. Some of these girls were reported as his sisters.

Josh , now 27 years old, issued a statement to People in response to the allegations: “Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.” He also stated, “I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions. I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption.”

Josh confessed all the wrong doings  to his father, Jim Duggar, but Jim did not call the authorities but called his church instead. Josh was put in a church program and was a changed man after he got out. He apoligized to all his victims and seeked forgiveness.

Michelle Duggar later confessed to the police that Josh did not recieve counseling and he was just sent to a family friend. The police couldnt press charges because the three-year statute of limitations has expired.
