iTunes Match allows you to access your music from anywhere

iTunes Match launched yesterday with the release of iTunes 10.5.1. For $25 a year, iTunes Match allows users to store all of their songs in iCloud.

iMatch allows users legal access to store all of their iTunes library in iCloud, even if the music wasn’t purchased through iTunes. iMatch matches songs in the user’s library to songs already in iTunes. This means, as TechCrunch reports, pirated music can be made legal for just $25/year.

Once the music is in iCloud, it can be streamed to any device and streamed at 256-Kbps AAC DRM-free quality.

Right now, iTunes Match is only available for U.S. users.
