Melissa Rycroft of DWTS released

Former ‘Bachelor’ contestant injured in practice

Melissa Rycroft may dance despite a Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars practice that landed her in the hospital Oct. 21. The former Bachelor contestant was rushed to the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Dance partner to Tony Dovolani, Melissa Rycroft was camera blocking in preparation for Monday’s show when she fell to the floor. This fall left her with head and neck injuries and a trip to the Los Angeles Hospital.

On her trip to the hospital, Melissa Rycroft was accompanied by her husband, Tye Strickland, and her dance partner, Tony Dovolani.

After being examined and causing worry in her partner, producers and fans, Melissa Rycroft was released Sunday evening and sent a message to fans via her Twitter:

“Been a long (and tough week) of Tango…but back to attack again today. Sometimes nothing motivates you like frustration,” tweeted Rycroft.

It is uncertain whether or not Melissa Rycroft and partner Tony Dovolani will join the other seven competitors in Monday’s episode of Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars. Her tweet alludes to a possible tango performance, but her partner tweeted his concern:

“Really concerned about @MelissaRycroft….. we don’t know if we are dancing tomorrow !!!!!” he tweeted Sunday night.

Fans will just have to wait until the episode airs Oct. 22 on ABC.
