Mark Davis may bring the Oakland Raiders back to L.A.
CBS News reports that Davis made the comment during a press conference on Tuesday. Davis also used the conference to announce the firing of coach Hue Jackson and the hiring of general manager Reggie McKenzie.
Davis said that it is imperative to get the team a new stadium and has had discussions about returning the franchise to SoCal.
"The timetable is yesterday. So that's where it is. We've got to get a stadium. We've got to get that done," Davis said. "It's such a competitive business. It really is competitive. We can't compete for a lot of the players that other teams can, at times."
"We're trying to get something done up here but if we can't, we've got to get something done somewhere because we need to be able to compete," Davis added. "And that's where it's at."
