Hunter Hayes Involves Fans in Live Shows Using Technology

Hunter Hayes is no stranger to the road. In fact, the 28-year-old country heartthrob has been touring since his 2011 debut and he’s still keeping things moving.

Having embarked on his Invisible Tour earlier this year, the singer-songwriter is keeping the momentum going as he gears up for his fall tour, the cross-country Tattoo (Your Name) Tour which is set to kick off on Oct. 30.

For Hayes, touring and music has always been about the fans and this time he’s taking things to a whole new level.

Hayes has planned an innovative show that is sure to involve every fan in attendance. Those who attend his show will receive a custom LED bracelet that is sure to make them part of the show though he has not said exactly how the LED bracelets will get fans involved.

“You can rehearse the show as many times as you want. You can sound check, you can get in the same room, same lighting system, same stage, same arrangement, all that stuff, you can do that as many times as you want, and it means nothing,” Hayes told ETonline. “When one person walks in the room, it’s a show. They are the show. They bring the spirit that you want in the show. That’s why on this tour we’re giving everybody that buys a ticket, everybody that walks in the door gets a wristband. They are the show from the moment they walk in, and even after the show, it is all about them,” explained Hayes.

Though we aren’t exactly sure how the LED wristbands will work and incorporate fans into his live shows, it’s sure to be spectacular, and unlike anything anyone has ever done before.

Dan + Shay and the Railers will be supporting acts for the duration of the Tattoo (Your Name) Tour which kicks off in University Park, Pennsylvania on Oct. 30.
