Miley Cyrus nearly got cut again—and not in the hopes of a startling new hair cut. A man was arrested outside of the singer/actress’s home Saturday morning, Sept. 8.

The man, Jason Luis Rivera, scaled a fence surrounding Miley Cyrus’ Los Anegles home and started banging on the door, according to TMZ. The fan claimed to be married to Cyrus while carrying a pair of green and black scissors.

When police arrived, Rivera was hiding in the bushes located near the home. Once apprehended, Rivera stated that he knew Miley Cyrus well. “I am friends with Miley Cyrus. She’s my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years,” he said in the video.

Someone inside Miley Cyrus' mansion, reportedly a relative, made a call to 911 at 4 a.m. Saturday, but the singer herself was not home when Rivera trespassed. He was charged with trespassing and burglary, and a bail of $1,000.
