Susan Sarandon has always been outspoken about her opinions and beliefs, and now she is taking time to speak with those protesting in New York.
Contact Music reports that Sarandon mingled with protesters on Tuesday. The group has been protesting in Manhattan, and Sarandon joined them as they protested against social inequality and corporate greed.
Reportedly, Sarandon, 64, chatted with protesters and told reporters, "I'm just here to be educated."
Michael Moore and Alec Baldwin have also shown support for those protesting, with Moore joining a march on Monday.
Sarandon is best known for her roles in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Step Mom" and "Thelma & Louise."
