Moogfest 2014 adds MIA and Pet Shop Boys to their lineup

The 5 day festival will invade Asheville, NC on April 23-27

With bad weather plaguing most of the country, our hearts are yearning like never before for the sweet sensations of music festivals. Well, MoogFest 2014 is gearing up to fulfill our wishes with the festival getting ready to envelope Asheville, North Carolina from April 23-27.

Labeled as “The Synthesis of Technology, Art and Music”, Moogfest 2014 is bigger and better than it has ever been before. Beginning in Times Square, Manhattan at the B.B.  King Blues Club and Grill.  What started off as a 4 hour gala, has now expanded into a massive five day festival that attracts patrons from all over the world.

It has been announced that the incomparable Pet Shop Boys, M.I.A, Flying Lotus and Dillon Francis will be setting Asheville ablaze with a whole heap of energetic sets that will amp up the crowds that are sure to fill up the venue.  Electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk will illuminate the stage with their futuristic set where they will perform a total of three concerts.

Fans can also expect sets from DJ wunderking, Tiga as well as an unpredictable set from hip-hop’s merry prankster, Riff Raff.  Modeselektor, Audion and Machinedrum will also be making their way to Asheville for eclectic sets featuring each of their unique styles of electronic music.
