DJ Mr. Cee resigns after admitting to transsexual falatio

Hot 97 radio decides to part ways

Radio DJ Mr. Cee, the host of New York’s Hot 97, quit his job on Wednesday after damaging video revealed his interaction with drag queens and transsexuals.

The DJ admitted on tape to soliciting sex from other men. Mr. Cee resigned his position amid the growing controversy and legal allegations. He was retained by police in May and stood trial for charges of solicitation. Mr. Cee was allegedly caught in a sting operation by New York police attempting to prostitute himself to a male officer.

A video from a year ago emerged, in which Mr. Cee is conversing with a drag queen, whereby he stated, “have I lied about getting sexual falatio in a car with a transsexual? Yes, I have lied about that and I feel bad for the listeners that it did take a video for me to say this because I have been in denial about this for a very long time.”

Mr. Cee and Hot 97 decided to part ways in a statement made by the radio station. “Due to some personal circumstances that have become public, after 20 years of service, Mr. Cee has chosen to resign.”

Mr. Cee does not consider himself gay, but does admit to dealing with issues of sexuality in his past.

Sources claim Mr. Cee has been asked to return to his position at Hot 97 radio, but details are, as of yet, unconfirmed.

Breaking Bad prequel spinoff in the works

“Better Call Saul” coming soon

“Breaking Bad,” everyone’s favorite meth-drama, is set to continue on past its September 29 season finale. Sony Pictures and AMC are teaming up with the creative team of “Breaking Bad” to create a Saul Goodman spinoff.

The new spinoff will be a prequel to the “Breaking Bad” series titled “Better Call Saul.” The show will follow the life of Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) before he became Walter White’s (Bryan Cranston) attorney.

Critics and druggies alike will likely rejoice at the news. The final season of “Breaking Bad” has seen record viewers, nearly six million per episode. “Breaking Bad” also set a Guinness World Record as “The Highest Rated TV-series.” Based on MetaCritic’s scoring system, “Breaking Bad” received a score of 99 out of 100.

It is unclear when the new “Better Call Saul” prequel will begin filming. Expectations are set for 2014, but networking and TV deals must first be met before pre-production can begin.

The prequel is sure to bring in millions of viewers; mostly tagalongs from the parent show. “Better Call Saul” is unlikely to pick up any new viewers, but it will surely fare better than anything else AMC might have put in its place. It will be difficult for the spinoff to live up to the enormous hype set by its followers.

As happens with spinoffs, some critics have already come out against the prequel for obvious reasons. Can the show stand on its own without the dynamism of core characters like Walter White and Jesse Pinkman? Will viewers tire of a poorly planned prequel?

Be sure to get your “Breaking Bad” high by tuning in to AMC on Sundays 9/8C.

Sexting, Sydney Leathers doom Weiner one last time

Sydney Leathers crashes concession speech

Anthony Weiner finally bowed out of his comeback bid for New York City Mayor. The former New York Congressman was embroiled in another sexting scandal with 23-year-old, porn-hopeful, Sydney Leathers.

Anthony Weiner lost the Democratic Primary, coming in fifth. During his concession speech on Tuesday, none other than Sydney Leathers showed up for the spectacle. The media circus swirling around the event was perfect for entertainment tabloids and gossip mills as Leathers appeared with new breast implants and a low cut top. She was forced to sneak past security through a side door in order to get in.

Weiner’s concession speech, with Leathers in the room, was the final in nail in his political coffin. He could never outrun his past mistakes and desires.

The sexting scandal is reminiscent of Anthony Weiner’s 2011 departure from Congress after he was caught sending nude pics to several women via Twitter. The surrounding controversy and ethics investigations forced Weiner to resign from New York’s 9th Congressional district.

Living in the political doldrums for nearly two years, Weiner staged his triumphant comeback by running for New York City Mayor. The Weiner campaign was hopeful that his brand of in-your-face politics and high name recognition would translate to victory in November, but old habits came back to haunt Anthony Weiner.

Weiner has now become the poster child of politicians-gone-wrong. His career is now virtually over, while his sextmate Sydney Leathers looks to spin her newfound fame into a modeling/porn career.

Houston teen stabbed to death in school

One dead, three wounded in cafeteria altercation

A fight erupted in the cafeteria of Spring High School Wednesday, leaving one dead and three wounded.

The 17-year-old victim was engaged in an altercation with multiple other students in the hallway outside the school cafeteria. The fight quickly escalated when a knife was pulled. The victim died of a series of stab wounds, with eyewitnesses seeing a trail of blood running along the hallway floor.

The attacker was identified as 17-year-old Luis Alonzo Alfaro. Alfaro allegedly stabbed and wounded three others during the attack as well. Alfaro was detained by police whereby he confessed to murder.

School and local authorities believe that gang activity may have been involved. Sheriff Adrian Garcia relayed the event by saying, “we believe a confrontation of some sort occurred…that ultimately led into a physical confrontation that produced weapons. There has been some information that this may have been gang-related.”

Parents in the community are growing more frustrated with the uptick in violence.

“Last year there were gang fights consistently. This is ridiculous. This is an ongoing situation,” local resident Tara Campbell stated.

The three other victims survived their wounds and were rushed to the hospital while classes were immediately cancelled for the rest of the day.

Luis Alonzo Alfaro is currently being held in the Harris County jail with bail set at $50,000.

Snooki, Bill Nye headline season 17 of Dancing with the Stars

Strong celebrity class sure to boost ratings

In a move to bring in absolutely zero new viewers, ABC has brought in a star-studded cast for its 17th season of “Dancing with the Stars.

Reality Princess Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Bill Nye the Science Guy and Jack (Son of Ozzy) Osbourne are all set to appear on the September 16 premiere.

Other no names include Blue Collar Comic Bill Engvall, former Scientologist and King of Queens actress Leah Remini and retired NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson.

Dancing with the Stars executive producer Conrad Green boldly stated, “I feel like it’s one of the best fields we’ve had in years.” The rest of America collectively responded with, “no it isn’t.”

Rounding out the “Dancing with the Stars” fame-fest are singer Christina Milian, and actors Brant Daugherty, Amber Riley, Valerie Harper, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren and Corbin Bleu.

Executive producer Conrad Green went on to say, “every single person justifies their place.” By “justifies their place,” we can assume he is referring to the D-list celebrity doldrums that “Dancing with the Stars” has become; a collection of have-nots and Hollywood leftovers.

Upon ABC’s reveal of the Dancing with the Stars lineup, viewers responded enthusiastically with cries of “I don’t know any of these people,” and “Why am I watching this?”

Be sure to tune in on Sept 16 at 8/7 CT. Contact your local cable provider for more details.

America Still Recovering from Miley's Twerking

Millions negatively affected

In a show that glamorizes over-the-top celebrities, Miley Cyrus’ VMA performance did more than steal the show. Thrusting and gyrating her way into the minds of viewers, burning the corneas of millions of horrified spectators, Cyrus held the world in her hand for one brief moment.

Miley Cyrus’ dance moves, known forever as “twerking,” were heralded by critics. Independent polling post-show revealed that 76 percent of Americans felt permanently scarred by her performance while 22 percent immediately canceled their TV/Internet package. A distant two percent of the population has yet to respond to questions, preferring to seclude themselves from all social contact.

Urban Dictionary defines “twerking,” as: “The rhythmic gyrating of the lower fleshy extremities in a lascivious manner with the intent to elicit sexual arousal or laughter in ones intended audience.”

Miley’s father, Country music superstar and Parent of the Year recipient, Billy Ray Cyrus commented on his daughter in one simple statement, saying, “Maybe I should have stepped in.”

20-year-old Miley Cyrus has been quick to exploit her core fanbase of over-sexed Disney stars, let down parents and teary-eyed senior citizens wishing for a “simpler time.” Album sales have skyrocketed, YouTube views have soared, while faith in American society plummeted to an all time low. Recent surveys have indicated national morale hasn’t fallenthis quickly since the Cuban Missile Crisis or the cancellation of the Arsenio Hall Show.

Wentworth Miller Reveals He's Gay in Open Letter

Declines Invitation to Russian Festival

Wentworth Miller, star of Fox’s “Prison Break,” came out as a gay man in a letter sent to the Russian government. Turning down an invitation to attend the St. Petersburg International Festival, the actor spoke out strongly against Russia’s strict policies towards LGBT citizens.

Miller, who has Russian ancestry, took the time to write an open letter that was posted on GLAAD’s website. Wentworth Miller wrote:

“I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government. The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly.”

Wentworth Miller’s statement comes on the heels of Russia’s continuing oppression of homosexuals, including the infamous imprisonment of members of the band Pussy Riot. In a move that brings solidarity to gay men and women around the world, Miller’s announcement goes beyond his own celebrity. Millions have come out in support of the actor’s statement and have commended his declination to the Russian festival.

Miller is an active member of GLAAD, the Human Rights Campaign, and The Mankind Project.

Bradley Manning to Seek Pardon Next Week

Largest Whistleblower in U.S. History

Bradley Manning is set to ask for a presidential pardon in the upcoming week concerning his 35 year prison sentence over leaking hundreds of thousands of classified military documents.

Manning, a former PFC in the United States Army, was convicted yesterday on 20 counts relating to leaked documents that proved the U.S. military was involved in several accounts of torture, war crimes, and the killing of innocent civilians.

Many critics were taken aback by the severity of the punishment. Although, Bradley Manning escaped being convicted on the most serious charge-aiding the enemy, he was found guilty on six counts under the Espionage Act. The 35-year prison sentence was handed down after Manning had been detained for over two years.

Manning is responsible for the largest leak in U.S. history. He passed over 700,000 documents through WikiLeaks, many of which contained damning evidence of improper military behavior.

Manning will be eligible for parole in 2021, after serving roughly one-third of his sentence. Seeking a pardon directly from President Obama will be Manning’s only hope of avoiding his entire 35-year sentence.

Many believe a pardon is unlikely because the administration is likely looking to put a stop to whistleblowers in the future, making Manning a pariah and sending a strong warning signal to other possible leakers.

The next step in the legal process will be turned over to a military appeals court, in the hope that it will one day reach the Supreme Court. A reduction of prison time is possible if Manning exhibits good behavior while serving out his prison term. He will also be credited with the time he has already served while under military detention.

PFC Bradley Manning is now stripped of his military rank and benefits and is currently being held under military supervision in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
