November 11th, 2011 is unique in so many ways.

1) Today is Veterans’ Day. Celebrating veterans all over the country, the holiday was established in 1918, when an agreement between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month that ended World War I. Today we honor everyone that has serviced in the armed forces for protecting us and the ideals our country stands behind.

2) Today has been declared Nigel Tufnel Day. In a tribute to the 80s movie, “This Is Spinal Tap,” the guitarist in the movie, Nigel Tufnel, shows off his amps with dials that go up to 11. 11 is one notch higher than the typical 1-10 amps, making his amps premium. Musician and Spinal Tap fan Michael Fennelly pushed to declare this day to celebrate his favorite movie.
