Kate Upton, everyone’s favorite SI cover model and red bikini dancer, has now landed on the cover of GQ’s July issue. Terry Richardson, who previous recorded Kate Upton dancing the Cat Daddy in an itsy-bitsy red bikini previously in the year, lent his talent behind the lens to the photo shoot.
In the July issue, Kate Upton is featured in numerous bikinis poolside with one revealing a faint glance of her nipple under a wet white shirt.
The one that seems to be receiving the most attention is one of the voluptuous Kate Upton lying topless in green grass, using her hands to cover her ample breasts.
The 20-year-old, Michigan born model, first gained notoriety when she posted a video of her self performing the Dougie at a Los Angeles Clippers game.
Upton has been the center of much controversy throughout most of her career, given her affinity to adorning barely anything- and often, nothing at all. In the Farrelly brothers’ The Three Stooges, Upton wore what has been dubbed a “nun-kini” with rosary beads around her neck. The outfit was so racy that even the Catholic League spoke out against the costume.
"I can see why the Catholic Church would be upset with me," Kate Upton said. "But it was just for fun, and I try not to take it more seriously than that."
When asked by GQ about her choice to flaunt what could be called a perfect body, Kate Upton responded, "I grew up in Florida riding horses, so for the majority of my life I was either in boots and jeans or a bathing suit. I understand why my male followers like me.”
Upton has modeled for Garage, Dooney & Bourke and was the face of Guess.
