Kate Upton is at the center of attention following a steamy Youtube video, its removal from the site and prompt return.
Kate Upton, 19, is a renowned supermodel and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model who has gained national attention for her imitations of popular hip-hop dances including the Cali Swag District’s Teach Me How to Dougie and most recently, the Rej3ct’s Cat Daddy.
The Youtube video, filmed by photographer and blogger Terry Richardson, features Kate Upton in an itty-bitty swimsuit smiling and freely swinging her arms and hips while the Cat Daddy beat bangs in the background. “That’s it, that’s all you guys need,” she says into the camera at the end of the clip.
The video was removed from Youtube Wednesday after garnering 750,000 hits in less than a 24-hour period before being removed. In its place, a message stating the video had violated the site’s sexual content policy.
With the attention brought to the video, or its disappearance, and its sexually-suggestive content it is no wonder the video mysteriously found its way back to the site. A Youtube spokesperson told The Daily Beast, “When it’s brought to our attention that a video has been removed mistakenly, we act quickly to reinstate it.”
And many are happy they did.
With more than a million hits on Youtube, the video may not yet have eclipsed the popularity of her video doing The Dougie at a Los Angeles Clippers game, 5.4 million to date, but it is well on its way.
